Beef Kabsa Rice

- 1Sauté the onion in olive oil until golden, then brown the beef with it.
- 2Add the cardamom, cinnamon, salt, pepper, and 4 cups of hot water.
- 3Cover and simmer for 1 hour on low until the beef is tender.
- 4Rinse the rice well, add it to the pot, adjust salt, cover, and cook 20 minutes on low.
- 5Take off the heat and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
