Privacy Policy

Eltaibat respects your privacy. The short version: we collect no personal data, we don't require an account, and we don't use trackers or ads.
What we don't collect
The app doesn't ask you to sign in or create an account. We don't collect your name, email, phone number, location, or device information (beyond what the operating system requires to run the app itself).
Data stored locally on your device
The following is stored only on your device and never sent to any server: your chosen language, foods and plans you've favorited, foods you've recently viewed, and whether you've finished onboarding. All of this is permanently deleted when you uninstall the app.
Feedback and reports
When you submit a suggestion or report from the app, your message is saved to our backend (Google Cloud Firestore). We store: the message text, the category you picked (e.g. "Suggest a food"), the optional "related to" field, your app language, your app version, your device platform (iOS / Android / web), and the timestamp. We do not store your name, email, IP address, or any device identifier — there is nothing in a feedback submission that ties back to you personally. If the message can't be sent (no network, for example), the app falls back to opening your email client with a pre-filled message instead.
Content updates
We use Google Cloud Firestore to push content updates (food list, weekly plans, recipes, tips) to the app without requiring a new app version. The app checks the current content version when it opens and only re-downloads when it has actually changed. These requests are anonymous — Firestore receives the request, but we do not log identifiers, IP addresses, or any record of who downloaded what.
Website (eltaibat.com)
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which handles visitor requests for security and performance. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregate traffic counts: no cookies are set, no individual identifiers are collected, and no cross-site tracking is performed.
Service providers
We rely on exactly two third parties: Cloudflare for site hosting and visitor analytics, and Google (Firebase / Cloud Firestore) for content updates and feedback storage. We do not share any data with anyone else, and we do not sell or rent data to any party.
Children's privacy
The app is intended for general adult audiences and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. The app contains no ads and no in-app purchases.
Your rights
Because we collect no data, there is no personal data to request or delete. To remove everything the app stores on your device, simply uninstall the app.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance.
