Grilled Fish with Rice

Whole fish grilled in olive oil, served with plain white rice. Simple and traditional. A nizam al-tayyibat (نظام الطيبات) recipe built on natural, allowed ingredients.

  1. 1Clean the fish and season with salt, pepper, and olive oil.
  2. 2Cook the rice with a pinch of salt and a tablespoon of olive oil.
  3. 3Grill the fish over coals or in the oven at 200°C for 12–15 minutes.
  4. 4Serve over the rice with a few drops of lemon. A few drops of lemon may be added at serving for flavor.

Tips

💡Don't overdo the lemon — just a few drops for flavor.
